Remote Qualified Electronic Signature

Rekono Sign enables the creation of qualified electronic signatures remotely in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation. It ensures that the signatory has exclusive control over the use of their data on a remote electronic signature creation device operated on their behalf by a trust service provider, and that all requirements for a qualified electronic signature are met when using the device.

The signer’s cryptographic key is securely stored on a remote device used to create a qualified electronic signature, which is then applied to the document or data. The signatory does not need dedicated hardware or software to store keys or perform the signature, allowing use of the service from any device (personal computer, smartphone, or tablet) with a web browser.

The signer’s identity is securely stored on a remote device used to create a qualified electronic signature, which is then applied to the document or data. The signer’s identity is verified through strong multi-factor authentication: a username and password combined with an additional one-time password mechanism via SMS, a dedicated device, a mobile app for one-time passwords, or a digital certificate.

Rekono Sign provides security services based on qualified electronic signatures, ensuring the legally valid integrity and authenticity of signed documents in the context of services provided via web portals or cloud services.
